We built the dating service we wanted to use, and then refused to compromise it.

In 2023 three of us — a relationship counsellor, a hospitality director and a product designer — kept having the same conversation with friends in their thirties. Everybody was on two or three apps. Nobody was meeting anyone. The apps were not broken; they were working exactly as designed, and the design was never about the outcome our friends wanted.

So we tried something unfashionable. We asked twelve people to answer honest questions about their lives, read every answer ourselves, and arranged one blind date each. Nine of those twelve told us it was the best first date they had been on in years. Four of them are still together.

What we believe

• Attention is the scarce resource in modern dating, not options.
• A stranger's character deserves an evening, not a thumbnail.
• Privacy is not a premium feature. It is the baseline for adults with careers and families.
• Honesty delivered kindly is more valuable than a comfortable silence.
• Matchmaking is a craft. Crafts are done by people who can be held responsible.

What we are not

We are not a dating app, a matrimony portal or a party host. We do not involve families. We do not publish profiles. We do not run engagement metrics, and we take no advertising money, because the moment we did, your loneliness would become an asset on our balance sheet.

Where we work

We curate in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai and Kolkata, and accept registrations from across India. When a city's member pool is too thin to serve you well, we tell you so rather than take your money and hope.
