Good manners are just clarity, delivered warmly.

Before

• Confirm with your concierge the morning of the date. Silence causes more cancellations than conflict does.
• Reschedule with at least six hours' notice if life intervenes. It is entirely acceptable; disappearing is not.
• Read the brief once, then put it away. Do not arrive with a checklist.
• Do not try to find them online beforehand. The point of blind is blind.

Arriving

• Be five minutes early. The table is reserved under our name.
• Put your phone face down and out of reach for the first hour.
• Offer a greeting that suits you — a handshake, a namaste, a smile. Nobody is owed physical contact.

The conversation

• Ask about what someone loves, not what they do. The second answer arrives on its own.
• Share something true before you share something impressive.
• Avoid the interview format: ex-partners, salaries, marriage timelines and family expectations can wait for date two.
• If they are nervous, slow down. Nervousness is usually a sign that the evening matters to them.

The bill

Our fee covers matchmaking, never the meal. Most members split it. Offering to pay is gracious; insisting after a decline is not.

Ending well

• Two hours is a complete date. Leaving on time is not rejection.
• Say a warm, honest goodbye. Do not promise a second date to be polite.
• Tell your concierge the truth the next day. We deliver it kindly, and you never have to have the awkward conversation yourself.

Never

Never pressure anyone into extending the evening, going elsewhere, or physical intimacy. Never ask a member for money. Never share their photos or details. All three end a membership permanently.
